At No Wahala Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, the privacy of our players matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information "Wedding Wahala" (the "Game") collects, how we use it, the legal basis for processing it, and the rights you have over it. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
To provide an online, account-based multiplayer game, we collect the following:
Our legal basis is the performance of our contract with you (running your account and the Game) and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Game and keeping it safe for all players.
Wedding Wahala includes online multiplayer and an in-game chat used during play. Chat messages and game actions are processed in real time to deliver the live game experience. Ordinary chat is not retained after a match ends. However, if a message is reported by another player, a copy of the reported content (together with the reporting and reported account identifiers, the game ID, and a timestamp) is stored so we can review it and take moderation action. Please do not share personal information in chat.
To keep the Game safe we operate in-app tools that let players report and block one another, and we may mute, suspend, reset usernames, or ban accounts that breach our End User License Agreement. To do this we process reported content and limited account information. This is necessary for our legitimate interest in protecting players and complying with platform safety requirements.
The Game may include in-app purchases. These transactions are processed by Apple (iOS) and Google (Android); we do not collect or store your payment card details. Please refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for details of how they handle payment data.
We use Google Firebase to provide authentication, real-time multiplayer, data storage, and crash and usage analytics (Firebase Analytics). Firebase Analytics collects app usage and event data and a Firebase installation/instance identifier; we use this in aggregate to understand how the Game is used and to improve it. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements, using an app-generated identifier rather than your real identity. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply.
Wedding Wahala uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob uses a user-resettable advertising identifier on your device to deliver and measure ads. Where required in the UK and EU, we present a consent prompt that lets you choose whether to allow personalised advertising; you can change this choice at any time in your device settings. Like many apps, Wedding Wahala makes use of log files containing technical data such as device type and software version, used mainly for troubleshooting and security.
We keep your account and progress data for as long as you maintain an account. Reported content held for moderation is kept only as long as needed to action the report and any related safety record. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your account and progress data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account), or by contacting us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Wedding Wahala is rated 13+ and is intended for users aged 13 and over, due to in-game chat and mild references to alcohol. The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
No Wahala Limited reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any changes on this page and update the date above, and we advise you to review it periodically.
